How to wire up a belkin USB hub

Since
some people
might
have a
hard time
finding
a USB
port I
thought
I’d
show you
how to
wire up
a belkin
USB hub
since
most people
will want
to hook
a hub
anyway.
Simply
purchase
a controller
extension
that has
controller
port and
a Belkin
USB hub.
Cut the
extension
end of
the cable
and the
standard
male USB
connector
off of
the cable
that connects
to the
root port
on hub.
Cut out
the yellow
wire since
it is
not needed,
strip
all the
wires,
and soldier
them together
like so.

Clean
it all
up and
wrap your
cable
with electrical
tape,
or use
heat shrink
tubing
to prevent
the connections
from coming
in contact
with each
other
and you
are done!
I
leave
the hub
in bus-powered
mode and
I have
had no
problems
with Gentoox
yet!
