Materials
Needed:
- 4 simple
on/off
SPST switches
- Some
Wire,
30awg
is good,
but anything
will work.
- Soldering
tools
and solder
skills
- A chameleon
mod chip
(DUH)
any version
will work.
Here
is a picture
showing
how to
wire up
the expansion
port for
use with
external
switches.
NOTE THAT
BLUE AND
RED WIRES
NEVER
CONNECT

Now,
the picture
is pretty
self explanatory,
this is
basically
what you
do...
1. Solder
the points
labeled
"Dip
1","Dip
2","Dip3","Dip
4"
on the
expansion
port
to one
side of
the corresponding
SPST switch.
2. Solder
the point
labeled
"GND"
to all
the empty
sides
of the
switches.
3. Make
sure all
of the
dip switches
on the
chameleon
are off.
4. Enjoy
your new
external
toggle
switches!.
I am
not responsible
for any
damage
done to
your mod-chip
or Xbox
for that
matter.
as in
doing
any mod,
be very
careful.
Thanks
