Requires:
- Logo-X
(I'm sure
you'll
find it
somewhere)
- Ability
to FTP
to console.
Firstly,
lots of
credit
to the
Logo-X
team,
and everyone
in the
xbox scene.
Ok, this
is actually
quite
easy.
The Microsoft
thing
is a picture
in .RAW
format.
So we
need to
make a
replacement
picture
first.
Open a
photo
editing
program
(such
as Adobe
photoshop,
which
i used)
and create
a new
document.
The document
has to
be 100
X 17 pix,
and 8-bit
(or 4-bit)
grayscale.
Now you
should
have a
small
blank
rectangular
document.
Fill in
the background
all black,
then use
a text
tool type
in whatever
you want
there.
The text
can be
either
white
or gray,
but I
recomend
making
sure it's
BOLD though.
Right,
now save
it as
filename.raw
in the
same directory
as your
Logo-X
program.
Next
thing
,FTP to
the console
get your
xboxdash.xbe
file from
the C:\
drive.
put it
the same
directory
as your
Logo-X
program.
If your
using
the graphic
interface
version,
click
browse
and open
the xboxdash.xbe.
Then browse
for the
filename.raw
file you
made.
Then click
on Insert
boot logo.
Apply.
If you
using
the DOS
prompt
version,
type:
logox
-insertboot
filename.raw
xboxdash.xbe
Last
step,
FTP the
file back
to C:\
drive.
Finished
!
Now you
can enjoy
having
whatever
you want,
whenever
you want
there.
