Take
off
the
metal
shielding,
(dun
worry
the
thing
is supposed
to come
off,
so the
lil
cuff
part
around
the
wire
will
come
off
too)
then
u should
be left
with
this:

the
red
one
is the
power,
the
black
one
on the
other
end
is the
ground
(the
original
Xbox
controller
did
not
have
different
color
wires,
instead
it only
had
a red
one
and
4 black
ones.
the
red
one
is always
the
power,
and
the
last
black
one
is the
ground)
3.
now
if u
look
above
the
wires
u will
see
lil
holes
as marked
below
with
red
squares

4.
now
some
how
hook
a wire
(NAKED
WIRE,
not
covered
in the
rubber
clothing
thing)
onto
the
red
wire
end
form
the
controller
( u
can
solder
it or
u can
jus
tie
it around
carefully
like
i did)
and
insert
it into
the
small
hole
(make
sure
its
not
touching
any
of the
other
wires)
k then
do the
same
for
the
black
(ground)
connection
5.
now
if u
see
my LED
configuration,
u can
see
i connected
my positive
LED
leg
to the
resistor
(btw
make
sure
u make
it as
small
as possible
the
one
i used
in my
controller
was
VERRY
small,
try
to minimize
space)

6.
now
stick
the
positive
end
of the
led
in the
red
wire
hole
and
the
ground
end
in the
black
wire
hole
and
plug
it in
ur Xbox
to check
if it
works
(should
light
up as
soon
as u
turn
on ur
Xbox)
7.
when
done
that,
put
it all
back
to gather,
i put
a lil
piece
of white
plastic
bag
in there
to help
blur
the
led,,
and
make
it look
like
its
glowing,
u can
do that
with
a glue
gun
too,
but
it would
be more
messy....well
this
is the
first
tutorial
i ever
made,
and
im sure
it probably
makes
no sense
wut
so ever,
so if
u got
any
q's
jus
email
me at
dabrownsuperman@hotmail.com
or reply
in the
thread.
