Upload
bios
Connect
to your
xbox (ftp)
and go
to drive
"C".
Make a
directory
called
"bios"
(without
the quotes)
in the
root.
(c:/bios/)
Upload
1 or more
bios/kernel
versions
into this
directory.
(max 256kb
for Xodus/Matrix
&
512k for
Xecutor2
(per bank))

Check
mode
If you
have a
Matrix/Xodus
, make
sure your
modchip
is in
mode 4
(write
enabled).
If you
have a
Xecutor2,
make sure
the the
Flash
jumper
is Off
(Flash
enable).

Check
EvolutionX
.ini file
Make sure
that the
following
line is
inserted
in the
.ini file
under
[BIOS]
section:
"Flash
= 0xbf61,"SST
- 49LF020",0x40000"
for Matrix/Xodus
"Flash
= 0x01d5,"XECUTER2",0x100000"
for Xecutor2
If you
don't,
you will
have the
following
error
"Unknown
Flash
Type"

Flash
modchip
Restart
your Xxbox.
In EvoX
go to
"System
Utils"
> "Flash
BIOS"
(standard
location
if you
didn't
change
this in
the evox.ini).
All bios
versions
uploaded
in step1
will now
be listed.
Select
the bios
you want
and press
"A"
and then
confirm
your action
by pressing
"Y".
It will
flash
to your
new bios/kernel
in less
then 5secs,
and you
Xbox will
switch
off.

protected
