Here's
a list
of things
I used:
* 007AUF
Evox Installer
(Just
in case
you mess
up)
* Backup
of anything
I wanted
to keep
on F:/
* Slayers
Auto Installer
on CDRW
* Phoenix
Bios Loader
1.3/w
X2 4977Bios
(xboxrom.bin)
* XBtool_1.0.8b16
w/RC4
keys
* 160Gb
WD HDD
* V1.1
xbox (brand
new at
Walmart,
could
be other)
First
of all
please
refer
to all
the previous
Tutorials
on setting
up your
Xbox with
a Large
HDD and
MSxboxdash.xbe
that loads
.xft.
Now to
free up
those
extra
20+ gigs
on that
new HDD
1. Ensure
XBtool
config
folder
has bfm.cfg
with correct
RC4 key
2. Open
XBtool
-a. Under
bios type
ensure
bfm is
selected
-b. Under
File options
click
open
--1. Select
xboxrom.bin
from your
Phoenix
Bios Loader
folder
(or ftp
from xbox
C:/)
-c. Under
LBA48
Support
and Default
Partition
Table
Options
--1. Check
LBA48
Support
--2. Ensure
Ignore
Hard Drive
Partition
Table
is unchecked
--3. Select
Partition
6 Takes
Rest of
The Drive
-d. Save
as xboxromLBA48.bin
(for backup
purposes)
3. Open
Flash
FXP and
go to
your xbox
C:/ drive
-i. Make
sure you
can boot
evox through
007 or
MA before
continuing
-a. Rename
xboxrom.bin
in your
xbox C:/
drive
to xboxrom0.bin
-b. Transfer
xboxromLBA48.bin
from your
comp to
your xbox
C:/ drive
-c. Rename
xboxromLBA48.bin
to xboxrom.bin
4. Restart
and see
what happens.
You should
boot to
the same
dashboard
you did
earlier.
-----If
no dashboard
boots
you will
need to
recheck
your bios.
Use 007AUF
gamesave
to recover
ftp access
to change
your xboxrom.bin
back to
the original
and start
over.------
!Congratulations!
You just
wiped
out your
entire
F:/ Drive!
Notice
many options
in your
evox menu
are not
available.
Your F
space
probably
says 137
though!
Almost
there.
5. Setup
Slayers
on your
Xbox.
-a. Insert
Slayers
CDRW (or
better)
into dvd
drive.
-b. FTP
entire
contents
into a
Slayers
folder
on your
computer
-c. FTP
Slayers
folder
to xbox
e:/apps/
-d. Edit
exox.ini
with text
editor
if needed
ie...
autoadditem
"e/apps"
6. Run
Slayers
-a. Select
option
8) from
the menu
"Format
any 1.x
drive"
-b. Select
Format
F: partition
only
ooh ooh
its Magic...
when I'm
with you...
Notice
F:drive
space
is now
155gb
or better!
7. Get
started
with some
apps by
tranfering
.../Slayers/SYSTEM/ALL/f
from your
comp to
your xbox
F:/drive
Nice
job Nghtshd
and oz_paulb!
And of
course
the rest
of the
scene...
