Splitting SEGA GT 2002 and JSRF Bundle Disk (v0.1)

Tutorial written by : Plowking

If you have the NTSC version of the SEGA GT 2002 and JSRF bundle disk, you may want to separate the two games to backup to DVD or to put onto the hard drive.

SEGA GT 2002

1. Copy the following files:

SegaGT.xbe
saveimage_replay.xbx
saveimage_ghost.xbx
saveimage_game.xbx

and the following folders:

adx
afs
aix
Media
movie
videodata

To a directory of your choosing.

2. Delete all files in the Media folder except gtxfx.bin

3. Rename SegaGT.xbe to default.xbe

4. You should now have the following files and folders in the directory you created:

adx
afs
aix
Media
movie
videodata
saveimage_replay.xbx
saveimage_ghost.xbx
saveimage_game.xbx
default.xbe

SEGA GT 2002 has now been separated and should function as the stand-alone version

JSRF

1. Copy the following files:

SegaJSRF.xbe

and the following folders:

Media

To a directory of your choosing.

2. Delete the following files from the Media folder:

ambient.wma
gtxfx.bin
launch.wav
menu.wav
TEXTSKIN.SKN
XDEMOS.SKN

3. Rename SegaJSRF.xbe to default.xbe

4. You should now have the following files and folders in the directory you created:

Media
default.xbe

JSRF has now been separated and should function as the stand-alone version
