There are alot of ways to flash your TSOP. With a gen1/2 modchip, with a matrix modchip, with a chameleon, with an X-ecuter2.x, with the gamesave exploit, with the XTF/ST.DB exploits , ...

We're not gonna go deeper into that on this page.
One thing they have in common is that you have to solder a few points to unlock the TSOP so you can flash it

The points that have to be soldered for each xbox version and tsop brand and displayed here.

1/ TSOP Unlock points for all xbox v1.0/v1.1 (all brand TSOP)

Top side of motherboard

connect the "jumper from MCPX RD# to Flash OE#"

Bottom side of motherboard

connect the "jumper from MCPX WD# to Flash WE#"

All xbox v1.0/v1.1 with a 'SHARP' TSOP chip must also connect this addition wire.

TSOP.p11 to +5V

2/ TSOP Unlock points for all xbox v1.2/v1.3/v1.4/v1.5 (all brand TSOP)

Top side of motherboard

Join the 2 points in each red circle

Bottom side of motherboard

Join these 2 points
