5
wires
are used
for the
connection
between
the mod-board
and the
switch
module.
When the
switch-module
is in
place
and the
Xbox is
powered
up, 5volts
comes
into this
module
to power
the LED.
Ground
is also
present
and is
used here
to “activate”
the three
switch
able options.
That is,
when any
of the
remaining
three
wires
are grounded
out they
“activate”
their
respective
owner.
As
from this
picture
above
(NOTE:
all actual
tests
were performed
on the
red module,
not the
green
one pictured
here –I
would
speculate
no differences),
moving
from bottom
to top
we have
this pin
out:
Pin 1
(closest
to bottom)
= 5Vdc
Pin 2
= Ground
Pin 3
= Protect
option
Pin 4
= Enable
select
option
Pin 5
(furthest
from bottom)
= Bank
select
An example
would
be if
the top
switch
in the
above
picture
is in
the up
position
(enable
selected)
then pin
4 would
be grounded.
Again,
if one
wanted
to have
these
three
options
selected;
Enable
the mod,
Keep it
in protected
mode,
and have
it on
Bank1,
then pins
2, 3,
4, and
5 could
be tied
together
(tying
pins 3,
4, and
5 to ground).
Any questions
feel free
to pm
me!
