BiosChecker is a Xbox program that can analyze your Xbox modchip (if one is installed) or your original XBOX TSOP and tell you what bios is installed! It's based on XFLASH source code developed by Dysfunction.
* You can see all content of your EEPROM
* You can update your Xbox EEPROM in one of three ways
-Using a valid EEPROM.BIN file
-You can "build" a new eeprom image from a configuration file
-Edit your current, loaded (.bin) or built (.cfg) eeprom data "On-The-Fly"
* You Can Lock and Unlock your HDD with the password created from your XBOX EEPROM
* You can create backup of your current eeprom, HDD password and various other settings.
* Security features will not allow a "bad" eeprom update, or update eeprom if HDD is still locked..
This application will allow you to Backup and Restore your XBOX EEPROM from a valid 256 byte EEPROM image file.
It is 100% compatible with EvoX backups.. you can restore the eeprom.bin file that EvoX Creates..
This program does a few things, Dumps your current eeprom to a .bin file, and can use a .bin file to program your eeprom, also when you dump your eeprom it will create a .txt file that explains what most of the crap in there means, some useful info.
As of version .4, you now have the ability to LOCK and UNLOCK your hd. If you don't know what that means, then don't use it.
With Flash-X you can now select which bank you wish to flash whether its 256k, 512k or 1MB. Gone are the days of a bad flash, now you simply program 256k or 512k at a time.
Installers who like to hot swap and flash their X2's will be pleased to hear that the machine does not reboot once you have flashed - so you can simply flash / hotswap / flash / hotswap much faster than when the xbox rebooted each time you flashed.
You can select bios's stored on C, D, E & F drives (sub dir \bios)
Compatible with Xecuter2.x Lite, Xecuter2.x Lite + and Xecuter2.x PRO.
Of course you can also run this from CDR / CDRW / DVDR without having a custom dash installed and still flash your bios with no problems - again great for installers in a hurry.
