"Whats New in this release :
- Implemented Point Filtering Rendering. Result is a more sharper display but more pixelated. If you prefer the old style rendering set UsePointFiltering=0 in the ini file.
- Implemented eject/remount/rescan cd media code. You can swap in and out a cdrw or dvd-r full of roms, pressing the Y button will rescan the files and update the xSnes9x menu as many times as you like. Press 'Start' to rescan back to your default roms specified in your .ini file. Thanks to everlame, RUNTimE, w00d00 for their assistance.
- Added IPS Patch support. Read the IPS Section below on usage.
- Added Save state support. To save your current state hold back and press white. To load an existing state hold back and press black.
- Analog Stick Screen Stretching is now toggled on and off by holding Back and pressing Y.
- Fixed 50/60hz switching "black screen" bug.
- Fixed lo res -> high res switching bug (Seiken Densetsu 3)
- Fixed menu for HDTV users.
- All filenames saved to the Xbox HDD now conform to Xbox filename standards. This should take care of any SRAM saving issues some users are having.
- Fixed (stupid) bug which caused gamepad config to be broken in Beta 4."

More info about the new Xbox

Enigmah & clones are bios patchers , so that's probably the reason why they don't work anymore on the new xbox versions.
Homebrew mods , xtender , x-ecuter , openxbox , xodus ... they are all FULL bios replacements and *should* work fine on the new xbox.

It says american programmers found out that the latest xbox consoles sold in USA do not work with Enigmah , Messiah & Pandora.
It also says the motherboards did not change 'visual' design.

How to Install SuSE Linux 8 on your Xbox

"XStream-Helper is basically a GUI and config.xml generator. What it does is show a directory listing. You find the location of where your movies, or mp3s are on your computer. The Lik-Sang build of OpenXbox/PC-BioXX looks a bit different then the first german build , but ofcourse it has exactly the same features
The full set. You will get :
- The OpenXbox Modchip + installation CD
- Free colored ribbon cable (pre stripped) with a header-plug for easy installation.
- Free ribbon cable (incl. two printer port connectors) for easy external installation.
you also get this DB25 cable for free
Great to see they added a header-plug , this means you will NOT have to solder the wires on the OpenXbox itself. So the # of solderpoints goes from 20 to 10.
Right now they are testing the new build and if everything goes OK they should start shipping all pre-orders in the next few days.
You can pre-order the whole OpenXbox/PC-BioXX set (+ free DB25 cable) for $59 from Lik-Sang. (they ship worldwide).

BIOS CHECKER v1.43

This program will check which BIOS (on a modchip or on TSOP) is installed on your Xbox.
It's updated with the latest releases.
What's new in version 1.43 :
"- Added recognition of Evox 2.3 FastForward Animation bios
- Added recognition of TrapFlag V2 bios
- Added BIOSSCAN Win32 program. Run under Win9x/2000/XP and can recognize "genuine" xbox bios .bin files. I think that's useful to know what kind of bios you are about to flash before flashing it!!"
