DVD filesystem info
>> Andy + Luke's xbox information area has posted information about the Xbox DVD filesystem that seems different then most other DVD standards.
Interesting part :
"Xbox media also appear to have regular 8MB spaces reserved for “security placeholders”. It is hypothesised that these are where Microsoft will place digital signatures for each data area on the disk, thus guaranteeing security from corruption or tampering.
It appears that the TOC of game DVDs has also been modified so that disks appear to contain much less data than they actually do (preventing casual copying of game data). It is assumed modified firmware in the Xbox DVD drive deals with this.
The disk image size should be rounded up to the nearest 0x10000 bytes, and padded with 0x00."

Xbox will be continent-locked :(
>> We have received information the Xbox WILL be continent-locked. This means no NTSC/US games will play on PAL , no NTSC/J games will play on NTSC/US and so on.
Too bad , once again Europe hardcore gamers will have to wait about 6 extra months to play top-games compared to US-players. Bad choice of Microsoft , this will only make the need for a "modchip" higher.

"Snow White" DVD not working on XP/Xbox

We have information "Snow White" doesn't play on Xbox either , no solution has been given by the Xbox Support at this moment.
