Relax v0.30

What's new?
"* Fixed timeout routines.. now u can pause a divx for like 5 hrs and resume.. and it still goes on!
* Fixed files hanging (when xbmp doesn't play the file it leave's the file open on the server and doesn't send a clse command). so when another session starts i will close any previous connection
* B6 Directory support (works with the virtual directory introduced in v02!)
* Splitted up the main unit into several other units.. it was becomming way to big... and i needed clean cuts of functionallity that i needed in the following feature
* Added Windows NT service support (yeah this was the feature i'm talking about)"

Xbox Media PLayer And XStream B6 FINAL

"What's new:

Improved support for DVD-R/W, CD-RW playback.
Seeking for AVI files. With the analog buttons you
can control how fast you seek.
Divx 5.0 and 5.02 Pro support. This includes B frames
and qpel motion compensation.
MSMpeg4v2 and MSMpeg4v1 support.
Skin parameters are in a new and separate .xml file.
This will make dropping in new skins much easier.
Network configurable via .xml config files. This
includes static IP/EVOX/DHCP support.
Anamorphic aspect ratio buf fix (16:9).
Subtitles. We only support SubRip .srt format right
now. There are conversion tools out there, though.
Local and Remote Directories supported.
DVD tray auto-eject/close.
New MMX/SSE optimized motion compensation routines. For
the curious, its a combined IDCT and MC copy/add. Several
codecs have support for this opimized function but I
believe we're the first to implement it in MMX/SSE.
Launch XBEs.
Dashboard replacement mode.
AVI Preemphasis support added. Previously, AVI files
with preemphasis would play out of sync.
XStream Web Front-end.
What didn't get finished:

Mpeg-2 video. Its mostly all done it just isn't stable yet.
There's already talk of a B6.1 though just for Mpeg-2.
AC3 digital output.
MPEG seeking.
Known bugs:

There is a bug where audio will turn off during seeking.
It is an inconvenience. To work around the bug do another
seek and it will come back on.
Also there is a chance that the program can hang during
seeking. It takes a lot of seeking for me to dup the bug.
I usually have to seek all over an hour long movie to get
it to show up. The only thing to do is to reboot the xbox.
There have been some problems with the xbox hanging at the
end of a movie. We've seen this mostly with mpeg1 clips.
It only occurs occasionally.
Of course, we're working on these bugs and hope to resolve
them soon."

Enigmah 3944<->4033

"Enigmah-X is based off the 3944 kernel so it will always patch your xbox to that kernel even if you have 4034."
We have received information that the Enigmah modchip does not "change" your BIOS version. (enigmah is no full bios replacement , it just patch the original bios)
If the kernel is a 4034 it will patch as a 4034
If the kernel is a 3944 it will patch as a 3944
The people who released the enigmah BIOS probably mean that the image they released (a full image ofcourse , not just the patches) is based on the 3944 BIOS.

Team X-ecuter releases X-ecuter BIOS

"Here is the Xecuter bios for the xbox. The first to be coded with all features on one kernel.
As you can see it is coded completely differently to the other bios' out there.
Props to Xecuter for bringing this complete kernel and also total props for the awesome DVDX v2.0
::Our reaction to all the recent lameness on some certain websites::
First of all show some respect. Without certain people none of you would have anything to play with.
There are always reasons for groups closing down and reopeneing. There are always reasons for name changes. If all you can do is make silly posts about this then you really do have miserable and boring lives. What you should be concerned about is if the product worked. Answer- yes it does. So why moan about it ?
If you cant install the xecuter mod then you shouldnt be going near electrical equipment in the first place. What you should be doing is giving it to someone with experience to do it for you - not posting things like xecuter sucks - the mod is totally shit it screwed my xbox - i hate xecuter and i want to kill them.
This one is quite funny - "I hate xecuter as i dont want to solder through those holes - I want to use wires but they dont give a diagram on how to do that."
We made this mod for these reasons. To show the first complete kernel. To make a design that was easy to fit taking only minutes from start to finish. Perhaps we should have put the tagline "do not try to install if you have absolutley no idea about soldering techniques" - but then again we incorrectly subscribed to the fact that most people messing with electronics had a little common sense.
Now in the lame world of the mod scene you always have idiots who bash your products, its just a pain in the ass when those that bash have absolutley no clue about mods. We are very freindly with all the other teams but its always those nothing to do with us that start these lame ass mod wars.

DoomX Alpha 0.02

Pandora1 3944 test
