X-ecuter update : release + PSX emu + new Xbox

"Final installation methods & diagrams will be posted in next few days. We have now finished our work with hardware. We much prefer playing with software tools so all hardware details have now been passed onto our Chinese friends along with all ideas and designs for new flash update tools. They will be selling things from next week as this is not really our scene. It's been lot's of fun playing with this and we will now be concentrating 100% on Playstation emulators for the XBOX."

No Add-on for X-ecuter

"We have been "looking" at a flash upgradeable design (connect to LPT port) but this will not be any kind of add-on and will be a seperate product designed for those that want to play around with the inferior BIOS files available online, if and when we ever decide to do it. This will be similar to the openbox but would be much cheaper and will not have any BIOS programmed to it. Remember if there is any news on X-ecuter - don't beleive it till you read it here. Xbox Mediaplayer Build 5

New Anti-modchip Xbox ?

It looks like Microsoft will try to combat modchips the same way sony does , by changing their hardware(design). If this information is true we will maybe see new versions of xbox that won't work with currect modchips.

With DVD-X you can now play all region DVD movies using any type of DVD Dongle on your XBOX.
Simply boot the disc and everything is done automatically. This needs to be done only once.
DVD-X is compatible with both PAL and NTSC dongles at the same time.
If you have any problem with screen flickering when playing NTSC films on a PAL xbox - simply use the Enigmah Video Select Disc to change modes.

For those that say we stole evo-x bios for the X-ecuter modchip. Ask yourselves how our kernel is a completely different design
and that ours has ALL the features on one device - and not two. Enjoy this free tool anyway just to show you some of our skills :)
Extra props to evo-x for the nice hdd patch though - full credits given.
Notes

This tool was designed on a 4034 console. We have implemented patch routines for the 3944 dashboard however we
haven't tested but it should work ok - 4034 NTSC/PAL works 100%.
If anyone find any bugs please make your posts / comments to the usual places - we're watching ;)
Version 2.0 will not require a dongle at all. This in is development right now and will be released soon.
