3 years Xbox-Linux Project: Launch of Free60 Project
>> Not really today actually ... it was the 23th of this month, but news was only posted today on their website. Congrats to the team for all the great work they did on the Xbox from the early Tux on the Xbox boot logo to the Cromwell(info) bootloader, NoModchip MechInstaller(info) and fully featured linux distros like Xebian(info) and many other distros ported to Xbox based on Team Xbox-Linux's work.
We hope we'll see more Xbox releases and Xbox 360 developments from this great team!

From xbox-linux.org:

Happy Birthday Xbox-Linux! The project is now 3 years old. To celebrate this, we have started the Free60 Project, which aims to port open source operating systems like GNU/Linux and Darwin to the Xbox 360.
