Xbox Live to host TV show by contest winners

On Monday, the technology giant announced it will give a $100,000 production budget for the creation of a six-episode TV show to the winner of its Xbox Live Originals contest. And, in conjunction with the New York Television Festival, it will present the original series on Xbox Live.
Contestants have until June 29 to submit "a short comedy pilot running between five and 15 minutes long." Then, several finalists will have their work shown on the Xbox Live Marketplace's video-on-demand service in July, with a final winner to be selected later that month.
