Microsoft keynote at TGS and GDCE

* Nintendo and Microsoft will be giving keynote presentations at the Tokyo Game Show in September, according to a recent update at Japanese site Famitsu.com. Microsoft will be sending Entertainment Division Senior Vice President Robby Bach over to Tokyo for a speech to be given from 10:00 to 10:50 on 9/16, the business-only day of the public show. Bach's presentation will be followed by a speech from Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, scheduled for 11:00 to 11:50.
The themes of this year's speeches from the two executives has yet to be announced, but most are expecting Bach to discuss X360. And most are hoping -- praying -- that Iwata will reveal something more solid about Revolution.
* Chris Satchell of Microsoft and John Cahill of Yahoo! are scheduled to deliver the keynote speeches the European Game Developer's Conference in London this year. Like its American counterpart that was held in San Francisco this past March, the conference consists of speeches and panels that discuss the state of game development and prepare developers for future obstacles.
Satchel is the General Manager of the Game Developer Group at Microsoft which spearheads forging partnerships and delivering the XNA platform to developers. Not surprisingly he will speak on the topic of next-generation game creation.
