Amazon: 8 Free Movies with Xbox360 HD DVD Addon
>> Amazon USA is adding 2 extra free HD DVD discs if you buy an Xbox360 HD DVD addon (or 3 if you buy one of the Toshiba standalone players). Together with the free King Kong disc in the box and the 5 free discs you'll get afterwards via a mail-in rebate from Toshiba .... that gives you a total of 8 free HD movies. Basically you pretty much get your $180 HD DVD addon for free.
It also seems like Amazon takes no side in the format war, you'll also get 8 free Blu-ray movies with the PlayStation3.
