Off-Topic: More News About Viper-GC
>> The Viper-GC is a 'coding module' for the GameCube that allows users to boot Homebrew applications, loaders or BIOS' (more info)
To coincide with the official release of the Viper GC and Programmer the Viper team has sent us their Developers manual, installation diagrams and PC software application for transferring Homebrew applications to the Viper GC flash memory. Some of the documented hardware features are:
- Run patched (or unpatched) Original BIOS from your own code
- Read the second DIP switch of the Viper GC Programmer
- Control of the lid sensor passthru
- Reflash the Viper GC directly from the GC
Expect Viper GC to go on sale early next week across Asia and then Worldwide!
