The Eeprom Clone Experiment
>> Kickace1616 & Alkane on our forums tried to connect with identical EEPROMs to Xbox Live.

Here's the conclusion:
[QUOTE]
Both parties could connect to Xbox Live at the same time, host games, and
join games. The only problem was that the two users with the same EEPROMs could not join the same games.

The errors we got when we tried to join the same game were:
Moto GP - "The game session is no longer available"
MechAssult - "No reponse from host"

We were able to join separate games fine & we each played at the same time with no problems.

The next day we both were not banned & were able to log on at the same time with no problems. Our XYZ codes have not changed since the last time we connected.

Conclusion:
Multiple people CAN use the same EEPROM but they will be unable to join the
same game. I wouldn't recommend trying this cause this can change, but for now you can use the same eeproms.

It looks like few people on the forum & irc say it can take several days before your xbox gets banned. So don't try this at home before it's confirmed still working after some days.

Check out this thread on the Xbox-Scene forums for more info.
