Mega X-Key allows you to transfer of all of your game saves and cheats between your XBOx and your PC. It also includes the ability to backup XBox Live accounts to your PC as well as XBox Live game save data and also supports bit for bit backup and restore so anything that Microsoft tries to hide on the memory card (i.e. XBox Live stuff) can also be backed up.
The most significant difference between the current version of XBSM and the new Mega X-Key is that the new Mega X-Key does NOT require a mod chip to be installed into your XBox.
Mega XBSM will be available to pre-order shortly and has an MSRP of $39.95. More advanced users may prefer to just assemble their own to save a few dollars, so we will be providing instructions for users who wish to do that as well.
Mega X-Key is scheduled for release on 3/31/2003.
