SEOUL: More console games in next World CyberGames
>> For this year, Microsoft Xbox title "Halo" will make its debut in the World Cybergames 2003. The game is among the first of several titles introduced in Microsoft's gaming console Xbox in 2000.
"We will definitely have more console games at the World Cybergames," said Hank Jeong, president of International Cybermarketing Inc., organizer of the World Cybergames (WCG) 2003.
He added that the inclusion of the Xbox in this year's world tournament aims to evaluate if console games can generate enough interest from players around the world.
Only 17 players from different countries are participating in a multiplayer tournament of Halo this year.
